Internationally-acclaimed Motown recording artist,
KEM, is celebrating his third career GRAMMY® nomination.
KEM is nominated in the
Best Traditional R&B Performance category for the song
“Nobody” from his fourth studio album, PROMISE TO LOVE (August 2014). KEM was previously nominated for Best Male R&B Vocal Performance and Best R&B Song for “Why Would You Stay” from his INTIMACY album in 2010. The 57th GRAMMY® Awards will broadcast live on CBS on February 8, 2015.
News of the GRAMMY® nomination and announcement of the Forever Charlie Tour come on the heels of KEM’s sold-out 8-city Promise to Love Tour – Pt. 1 in November. Also in November, KEM learned that his 2nd studio album, ALBUM II, had been officially certified platinum by the RIAA (Recording Industry Association of America).
KEM will join the legendary Charlie Wilson on his Forever Charlie Tour along with R&B favorite, Joe. The 27-city U.S. tour kicks off on February 12, 2015 in Cleveland, Ohio, with tickets going on sale December 12, 2014.-DocFB
