Hannah Welton, the current drummer of Prince’s 3rdEyeGirl and The NPG, talks drums, Prince, and advice for young female performers. “I aspire to inspire.”

I believe this was shot the day after the Anaheim 3rdEyeGirl shows for the Live Out Loud Tour, so early May.

Also in conjunction with the video, Hannah Ford is on the Cover of Guitar Center’s Buyers Guide distributed world wide. Nice interview with her and more pics…

    Thank you. I like Hannah very much, she is a great player. Saw her in Montreux. It was very good. But please don´t get me wrong, i prefer John Blackwell back in the NPG. He is on another level. And Prince needs the best musicians around him. Iam really missing the old NPG ( Renato, Morris, John B.)….

    Very well spoken and articulate. Her music is AMAZING! NPG is really pushing great music forward! All I can say about Prince is, pure genius!!!!!!!!!!

    Saw/heard Hannah play in Las Vegas and Montreux. She’s a fantastic musician, always smiling, singing along with every song – and she’s a very sweet person too. Hannah, U rock!

    AHHHHHH! What can I say YET again another Family member getting her SHINE ON. YES! NPG is so Blessed to have Hannah on the TEAM! CONGRATS! 2 U Hannah. Love the quote she said “I aspire to inspire” just LOVE this quote. Hannah you are doing a GREAT JOB inspiring so many young musician. 3rd EG ROCKS!! 😉
