The 3rd Eye Girl has struck again! 3rdEyeGirl.com has released “That Girl Thang” from PRINCE, a stripped down number, after releasing “Boyfriend” (demo) on Friday.
3rdEyeGirl.com also teased the release of “L.O.L. (Live Out Loud) with Hannah Ford, Donna Grantis, and Ida Nielsen talking and being asked “Who is the 3rd Eye Girl” for which they have no answer for.

I read somewhere on Twitter, a comment that Prince is going to release all of these songs through 3rd Eye Girl and then turn around and release an album that everyone is going to buy anyway, then he gets our money twice. Well you know what, I WOULD buy it! Cuz that is how I like to buy my music, in CD form, but only Prince could make me bloody well download music! It’s only .88 cents per song! So Mr. P, you and those girls should put out a CD, because we would buy it! Love it, thank you Prince! You the man! But then, you already knew that!

Posted at 05:58h, 18 FebruaryVery nice RAW sound to this little treat, and while I doubt anything from the vault will be released without being touched up or totally redone first, this one sounds like it could have been pulled off the shelf, dusted off and uploaded as is, complete with what sounds like the mic getting bumped a couple of times while recording the song. Regardless though for $0.88, new or old… “wat-a-bargin!” Won’t find that deal at the wreck-a-stow assuming you can find a REAL one anymore. Peace!

Posted at 00:21h, 18 FebruaryThis is a really nice song. The simplicity of the song with Prince and the acoustic guitar makes this a gem. And I’m loving how we are getting all of these songs. We have MANY Prince fans who are having major issues getting these songs downloaded. I don’t know if it’s a PayPal thing or a Prince things but this needs to be fixed ASAP. It doesn’t take much to piss off a Prince fan, P and his crew needs to do everything in their power to make sure that this isn’t a hassle for the fans so that we don’t see more fans leave. Even with all of this, I am grateful and I’m looking forward to seeing where the rest of 2013 takes us in The Purple World!
