PRINCE has just released “Boyfriend” (Demo) for download on 3rdEyeGirl.com for 88 cents!

The song appeared on the site earlier today only to be taken down. We can only guess that it wasn’t ready yet….or that the “Boyfriend” in question was over and had to hide somewhere until he was gone.

So download it at 3rdeyegirl.com

It is in Wav format which is higher quality but it seems people still want the wimpy mp3 instead.-DocFB

    Ok now I’ve listened about 8 times and Boyfriend IS the funk — pleeeeaaaassssse, gotta hear this up close and live out loud.

    Boyfriend is funky and Breakfast Can Wait….I don’t know if everyone is keeping count, but, homeboy has let us hear 12 songs so far…Prince is superbad!

    WAV is just fine, mp3 fans can use any free converter if they wish…

    Now I’m waiting for the other songs ^__^

    We don’t want mp3, come on :p

    I like the new Boyfriend song, it has some great funky moments. Still, Prince is at his best when he does a jazz or rock album, so I’m waiting for those other 4 songs that will hopefully be up soon!

    They were mentioned in that Screwdriver poem… which could be a good sign.

    if not FLAC, then Wav is better than mp3.

    I had no problem opening the file with ITunes on my computer. The only problem I had at first was that I didn’t receive the email with the download links. However, once I realized that I could download the song from the My Account page on the 3rdeyegirl site, all was ok 🙂
