30 Aug Eddie Van Halen Has Emergency Surgery! Japan Tour Postponed

This tour was supposed to last a few years and with the band getting tired out and now Eddie Van Halen’s emergency surgery, it now appears it really will last a few years.

Eddie Van Halen had successful emergency surgery for a severe bout of diverticulitis. That is quite painful.

There is no further surgery needed but Eddie will be recovering for the next 4-6 months.

The Japanese leg of the tour will now take place in 2013.

We wish Eddie and speedy recovery.  We hope the pain subsides soon.-DocFB
