Wow. PRINCE and the NPG are in rehearsal for the Welcome 2 Australia tour!!! Ticket sales are BLAZING. What started as 3 shows is now up to 6. Australia, how many shows can U handle?
To begin every week of rehearsal, to get the rust off, PRINCE and the band jam one song for 30-45 minutes.
“The Dance Electric” in its original form with vocals will be one of the featured encore songs for the Welcome 2 Australia tour.

But, the artist is up for it so i’ll apply!
Crystal Ball – One of the most unique and amazing songs i’ve ever heard.
Wall Of Berlin – Explosive track. I’d like to hear many more newer tracks as they’re amazing too.
Sticky Like Glue – My girlfriend is obsessed with this song. Right up there with the classics.
Extraloveable – Any version. It’s a great song!
Days O Wild – This has been done without the explicit lyrics before, so….GET IT BACK ON!
Dark – A fantastic soul ballad!
Rave Un2 The Joy Fantastic – Utterly unique and genius. I can say that for so many of Prince’s songs that just collect dust on their respective albums.
Black Sweat – A true update to the Mplsound. The beat still blows out my car windows.
More Sly Stone – Let’s face it, Sly is genius. Let’s get different tracks into the setlist!

Acoustic section – This, whether piano or guitar, is vital and in honesty, is better than the sample medley by far.
More blues. Start with The Ride – The blues (in a more traditional sense) is something i think could be expanded in the setlists and the studio.
I don’t want to over do it, but as a sign off, i’d like to thank Prince and the band for all their work and the continued inspiration and brilliance that they give.
Prince, you’re, in my opinion, the greatest and the most complete entertainer to ever grace us.
Do what YOU want to do, you’re the artist.
