Wow. PRINCE and the NPG are in rehearsal for the Welcome 2 Australia tour!!! Ticket sales are BLAZING. What started as 3 shows is now up to 6. Australia, how many shows can U handle?
To begin every week of rehearsal, to get the rust off, PRINCE and the band jam one song for 30-45 minutes.
“The Dance Electric” in its original form with vocals will be one of the featured encore songs for the Welcome 2 Australia tour.

Posted at 16:33h, 19 MayWent to the first Brisbane show and second Sydney show and didn’t get Mountains.. which is OK because I got introduced to the beautiful Empty Room instead which was EPIC. I even got half a line of darling nikki. But I’m thinking of buying a ticket to the second Brisbane show to try and hear gold and mountains that have been played in Sydney and Melbourne shows… please Prince!
LOVED the little bit of Nasty Girls and I’m going to support the wild cards of 17 days, black sweat and elephants and flowers.
When doves cry was incredible… please release the longest dvd collection known to man of this welcome 2 tour with as many songs as you can convince them to release… you know we’d buy it.

Please. I’ve been to each Australian tour, one each decade for each decade of my life thus far. I’ll be making my second show for this tour, the third Sydney show on 22 May, sitting 2nd row of the Purple Reserve. If this one song could be played, words could not express my thanks. And just to be cheeky, in case you really are reading these suggestions, then 17 Days would also be amazing!
