Wow. PRINCE and the NPG are in rehearsal for the Welcome 2 Australia tour!!! Ticket sales are BLAZING. What started as 3 shows is now up to 6. Australia, how many shows can U handle?
To begin every week of rehearsal, to get the rust off, PRINCE and the band jam one song for 30-45 minutes.
“The Dance Electric” in its original form with vocals will be one of the featured encore songs for the Welcome 2 Australia tour.

While the audio of “Dance Electric” rehearsal style is bad ass, I have to say after seeing The Revolution’s reunion at First Avenue for Bobby Z.’s benefit that even though the new NPG is dope, The Revolution with Wendy, Lisa, Brownmark, Bobby and Dr. Fink could make this jam work even mo’ funkier.

Posted at 03:24h, 18 April1 thing I can’t help but wonder is how on earth is Prince able 2 afford all this touring? Who’s bankrolling this whole worldwide touring affair? Taking a band, crew and stage on the worldwide road is incredibly expensive. With Warner Brothers no longer having Prince’s back as well as no new multi-million selling wreckas under his belt, how is he doing this?
