09 Jan Jay Z’s “Glory” Shows Growth & More When Talking About Beyonce’s Miscarriage
Jay Z released “Glory” as a tribute to his newborn daughter “Blue IV Carter” and it shows the growth of an artist.
Right now, we have Common trying to diss a way younger artist than himself in Drake. Although Jay Z’s “Glory” is not a classic, it is refreshing in a game that has taken several steps back. Jay Z himself, has taken several steps forward. Including the baby’s first cries into this world at the end, he shows how moved he is by birth.
He also touches on the sensitvie subject of Beyonce’s miscarriage in 2010. It is touching and it humanizes him and Beyonce in a way that we just never see the couple.
We are hoping some of Jay rubbed off on Kanye so he does not go into Common’s path. It’s nice to see an artist so humbled by birth.
For those who have not heard the track yet, check it out below.
