Say what you will about Donald Trump the past few months, but actually gave Obama and the Democrats a scare, something the Republican party couldn’t do. ultimately, Trump decided to choose business over running for President of the United States of America,
“I maintain the strong conviction that if I were to run I would be able to win the primary and ultimately the general election.”
“Ultimately business is my greatest passion and I am not ready to leave the private sector.”
“especially when my potential candidacy continues to be validated by ranking at the top of the Republican contenders in polls across the country.”
Yes, the Republican party wanted him to run. He was their best chance. Obama was re-elected for his 2nd term unofficially after getting Bin Ladin. Also, seeing gas prices drop 6 cents yesterday after his speech that they will do something about gas prices was impressive. Still want to see it way under $4 dollars a gallon.

Posted at 08:32h, 17 MayNo one in their right mind would have voted for Trump. Any true Republican would not have voted for him since no one knows how he stands on social issues. Also, all his wealth was inherited, so you can throw the whole “American success” story out the window. He showed time and time again that he couldn’t control his emotions and would publicly denounce people in pathetic ways.
Another thing, I don’t see how soooo many people thought he would run. He said he was “interested” but he never spent 1 dime on a campaign. Men with much much less money than him have already bought in.
Many people often choose on character, and not on political beliefs. Trump is a big duche, and wouldn’t win the “ill informed” votes.

Trump is sadly not even that great of a businessman. What other “great” business leader filed for bankruptcy 4 times or more. Including after running a casino, never happened before.
He is a PR guy. A talker who used his inheritance, borrowed billions from the banks to fund his investments and a plane etc. with his name on it.
He did not want to disclose his “fortune” or his “creative” and very questionable valuation techniques.
He also was booming in popularity and became a laughing stock for pursuing “insane” ideas, pundering to birthers, racists, etc..
He also has so much dirt in the closet that he simply does not want to come out….
