01 Feb Say what? Cee Lo Green To Open For Prince In NYC, Feb. 7
Prince never ceases to surprise us. His final (?) show at New York’s Madison Square Garden is on February 7th, and today we got the news that opening for him will be Cee Lo Green, the mastermind between the hugely popular song, “F%#k You”.
If you’ve been to a Prince concert in the last several years, you know that Prince doesn’t go for profanity anymore. He even changes the words to some of his classic hits to avoid it.
So now he’s invited the very guy that’s becoming a household name because of it to open for him? See what I mean – Prince is surprising. We’ll have to see if Cee Lo has to put any money in the swear jar by the end of the night.
Prince is a fan of Cee Lo’s – he’s been playing his hit “Crazy” at his live shows for the last few years.
Prince has also been jumping on stage with his opening acts at Madison Square Garden during the Welcome 2 America tour. So which Cee Lo song will Prince join in on? Only the purple one knows… -Dr.FB
UPDATE: ALL OF PRINCE’S SHOWS ARE FAMILY FRIENDLY WITH NO CURSING.
THEREFORE, CEE- LO WILL BE PERFORMING “FORGET YOU” AT THE SHOW.

Posted at 23:03h, 05 FebruaryCool.. I hope Prince does the westcoast sometime soon! He’s no stranger to having Cee Lo perform with them. I saw Cee Lo perform Crazy with Prince and the band in Las Vegas during that year when the NBA All-Star game was out there. Natalie Cole was also there. That was an incredible night and performance… Enjoy the show, whoever gets to go!

Posted at 01:38h, 05 FebruaryI’ve been to two out of the four concerts in NYC and I will tell u now that Prince is not fading whatsoever. His show has class-he has so many hits (as he always points out;o) and he never ceases to amaze me or the rest of his true fans when he does different set lists and songs at every show. What artist out there EVER does that??? Not to mention the band is off the hook…and it’s so nice to see REAL back up singers singing. NO TRACKS!!! LIVE MUSIC!!!! (LOVED when they sang “Adore”-it was such a beautiful blend of voices). It was also really cool when the Twins came back to dance-(don’t really miss their singing sorry!) but they did add a nice “entertaining” factor to the show.
