    Would love to hear him perform HIS favorite songs. Different guest singers and guest musicians for EACH song would be great! Maybe he could bring Bria on stage to perform ELIXER with him? I’d also love to hear him perform his new song “Hot Summer” i bet it would sound great LIVE!!

    so far these lists look pretty good, however, it IS BET so there will be No elton,no slash, no levine.. unfortunately. the only way to get those amazing artists would be if MTV did an ICON show for him, and Larry Graham probably wouldn’t allow that. as long as a few things DON’T happen, it should be tight, first … NO LARRY GRAHAM AT ALL!! NO WILL.I.AM either(he’s just annoying),
    lastly.. IF Prince performs.. please do Prince songs.. not Sly,not Larry,not Stevie,Not Janet,Not MJJ…they’re honoring Prince, so please Prince ..do a Prince medley!!

    Well, covering Prince is quite difficult, so I can only imagine best singers and best musicians doing it:
    Bilal, Andre 3000, Raphael Saadiq, The Roots, Maxwell, D’Angelo, Erykah Badu, Janelle Monae, Alicia Keys (she already does in concert covering How Come U Don’t Call Me Anymore? and Shhh!). It would be also fun to see people like George Clinton covering Erotic City, Stevie Wonder, Al Green and all the greatest!

    How about Lenny Kravitz doing Lets Go Crazy with Wendy, Lisa, J. Blackwell, Brown Mark, and Renato Neto? I would luv Foo Fighters doing Little Red Corvette or Elton John doing The Ballad of Dorothy Parker, D’Angelo doing Housequake, Erykah Badu doing Anotherloverholeinyoheaad, and Clapton doing Question of U.

    stevie wonder, chaka khan, george clinton, carlos santana, george benson, larry graham, sheila e, maceo parker to form the backing band

    as guest singers how about mariah carey, d’angelo, maxwell, sade, and the original time lineup should also guest

    as for songs, i would say nothing compares 2 u, manic monday, i feel 4 u, kiss and purple rain are played, to represent that his songs are known by people even if they didn’t hear prince singing them, and of course a couple of well known hits, with prince joining for purple rain with carlos santana adding some freebird/hotel california dual guitar work
