01 Apr “One and a Half Men” – Charlie Sheen Leaving His TV Gig
After seven seasons, word on the street is that Charlie Sheen will be leaving his sitcom, Two and a Half Men. The April 9 taping is expected to be his last show.
Sources on the set of the show told People magazine that “Charlie’s just done, and he’s quietly telling his friends he’s not coming back.”
Sheen recently turned down an offer to extend his contract for another season. A friend of Sheen says “Leaving is 100% his idea.”
The question remains of how much Sheen’s recent domestic drama and court appearances are contributing to his desire to leave the show.
Sheen is facing domestic violence charges after a fight with his now estranged wife, Brooke Mueller, on Christmas Day last year. Sheen pled not guilty to the charges last month and is due back in court on July 21 for his jury trial. -Dr.FB
