21 Dec Brittany Murphy’s Mom Says Death Could Be Tied To Diabetes
Is Brittany Murphy’s mother a mom who is trying to protect her daughter from drug rumors or is she shining some light on her daughter’s death?
Brittany Murphy’s mom says that Brittany had diabetes type 2 (which is something I suffer from) and that it could be complications of her diabetes that caused her death.
Several prescription drugs were found in Brittany’s house and she had been suffering from flu-like symptoms and was mixing flu medications along with her other prescriptions. No illegal drugs were found in the residence.
Her mother found her in the shower where there was throw-up around her and it is said that she had thrown up through the night.
Here are some links of people with diabetes who died in their 30’s from complications to diabetes:

So do you think that her mother is protecting her or does her story have merit?-Dr.FB

Posted at 02:50h, 13 JanuaryMost people get Diabetes because of the lack of exercise and overeating. We should be more aware of our lazy lifestyles and start exercising regulary to avoid Type II Diabetes.

Posted at 09:16h, 06 JanuaryI was thinking the same as JG… it rare for someone her age and size to be type II, type I yes (Juvinile Diabetes) My 16yr old has Type 1 and cant gain weight for anything. He is not managed and goes through those spells of vomiting and being very ill. If in fact the diabetes is a relation, I hope it brings to light Type 1….i struggle every day with getting people to understand what it is, the difference with type II and how deadly it really is.

Posted at 16:57h, 22 DecemberIt’s VERY ODD that someone so thin would develop Type II diabetes. Type II diabetes is brought on by 1) age and more than 90% of the time being UNHEALTHY & eating crap that’s made you FAT! – TYPE II diabetes – I find that hard to believe. That was not the cause of her death…..

Posted at 19:42h, 21 DecemberShe might have actually been a Type 1 diabetic, wrongly diagnosed as Type 2 because of her age. That happened to me. I was so sick and thought I had the flu, couldn’t keep anything down days. I lost 40lbs in 1 month. Also for a month before, I was completely out of it, almost passing out twice.
If she had high blood sugar for a long period of time, she could have damaged her heart.
Regardless, it’s a shame she died so young.

Posted at 14:38h, 21 DecemberHere are some facts:
When a diabetic is out of control w/ their sugar, they lose weight at amazing speed.
When sick with cold, flu, fevers, etc. their sugars spike and drop at the drop of a hat. Either too high or too low can cause you to go into a coma and death may come along with it.
My husband is a diabetic and my girlfriend’s daughter died at age 11 from diabetic coma. They thought she had the flu, brought to the doctor and emergency room, she was dead 22 hours later.

Posted at 09:48h, 21 DecemberI have relatives who have Diabetes and I’ve never heard of it causing Cardiac Arrest. It’s not to say that it can’t but this is the 1st time I’m hearing of it. I don’t know what to say about Brittany’s death but if drugs play a part, which was the 1st thought that came to my mind, then it wouldn’t shock me and that’s sad.
