Gwen Stefani and No Doubt rocked the stage at the Shoreline Amphitheatre in Mountain View, California. Gwen and the boys tore it up and put thier heart on the line.
Gwen got emotional at the charity event while performing “A Simple Kind Of Life” when disabled kids were shown on the screens around her. The event was for Neil Young’s 23rd Annual Bridge School Benefit.
May I add, it was nice to see Gwen being Gwen. I mean that in the sense of the No Doubt tour earlier this year, Gwen went back to wearing her ska outfits and the outfits she wore in No Doubt’s heyday instead of the glam look she was using as a solo artist. It came off to me as somewhat fake and not making her look so original as I thought. It made me think, was it all for dress up and show?
I know some No Doubt fans would disagree with me and like that she wore what she wore. I just think you should grow as artists even if you are doing a tour of your greatest hits. I don’t think Gwen lost some of her hipness over the weekend changing up her look to be more modern.
Shoot, in the first photo she has Madonna-like qualities and I find that quite hot. Hot like soup in fact.-Dr.FB
