I just entered a long and comprehensive comment, and when I hit the submit button my FireFox did something really weird.
Was it somehow saved or should I retype it all again?

Posted at 16:23h, 23 FebruaryAh, one more thing… the rumored “Green Day” song was actually the song “The Middle” by Jimmy Eats World. That has to be one of the most obscure covers he’s ever done. Don’t remember the song from the 90’s? The Chrous goes like this…
“It just takes some time, little girl you’re in the middle of the ride.
Everything (everything) will be just fine, everything (everything) will be alright (alright).”
Now you remember it right? And of course, Prince pulled it off very well.
ok, back to sleep, er work.

Posted at 12:40h, 23 FebruaryHere is my very quick review/setlist of the show. (Workin on 90 mins of sleep mind you). It was a GREAT show! No Bria Valente, no special guests, just P and the band doin their thing!!! Here’s what I can remember in complete random order..
Purple Rain intro… then FLIPPED IT and went into a new song “Old School Jam”?
Crimson & Clover
Come Together – Beatles
Let’s Go (The Cars)!!!!!! GREAT cover
SHHHHHHHHHHHHHH (KILLLLLLLLLED IT… TONS of guitar and had the audience chanting “Break it Down” before going into the song.. it was amazing)
Shelby J sang one of her songs.. called.. umm. ugh.. Love Struck?? I can’t remember
Shelby J did BROWN SKIN!! By India Irie!!!!!! UNREAL. She TORE IT UP
Honky Tonk Woman – Rolling Stones
The Bird!
Jungle Love!
Play That Funky Music White Boy – Cody was on the mic and RIPPED IT UP
ooooo another highlight was a new girl singer Liv I think was her name? Sang a slow, bluesy version of…. When Will We B Paid!!!!! It was DOPE and that girl could BLOW.
Of course he did some hits too… 7, Cream, I Wanna Be Your Lover, Controversy
I’ll leave the complete reviews for the people who called in sick to work and got some actual sleep. LOL
