On Monday evening, Prince played for just over 2 hours at La Cigale in Paris. We're told he was smiling all nite long and having a great time. The mind-blowing set list is below.
Earlier that day, Prince stopped in at the studios of
radio station RTL for a short performance and interview. The first song in the set was "North Carolina", co-written with band member Shelby J. and featuring her on vocals. We first told you about this track late 2008 so we're excited that the world will finally get to hear it. Anthony Hamilton is on the studio version of the track as we told you before.
At RTL, Prince and the band also played "Feel Better, Feel Good, Feel Wonderful", "Mountains" and Michael Jackson's "Shake Your Body (Down to the ground)".
UPDATED: The audio clip below is from a promo that RTL has on their website for the airing on Saturday. You can listen to bits of Prince and the band peforming "Feel Better..." and "Shake Your Body". I don't know about the rest of you, but the Doc can't wait to hear this bluesy show!
