Madonna and Lady Gaga have grossed the most money in 2013 of musicians. Madonna pulled in $45 million more than Gaga to be crowned top money making musician of 2013.

Madonna made $125 million in 2013 based mostly on her MDNA tour which grossed $305 million last year, tour merchandise, her Material Girl clothing line and her Truth Or Dare perfume.

Lady Gaga pulled in $80 million, $160 million pulled in by her last tour. If she was able to finish her tour before suffering a hip injury, she would have grossed $200 million but still falling short of number one held by Madonna.

3. Bon Jovi $79 Million
4. Toby Keith $65 Million
5. Coldplay $64 Million

All of the top 5 money makers have been touring which is where a tremendous majority of their money has come from.
