Breakfast Can Wait Digital Single Cover

PRINCE has just released a teaser for his latest video “Breakfast Can Wait” directed by Danielle Curiel.

Looks pretty cool. Dani looks like the wrestling diva Eva Marie with a mix of Janet Jackson in the “That’s The Way Love Goes” video which is a good thing.

On the PRINCE Spreecast, we talked to people who saw the video at Paisley Park over the weekend after The New Power Generation performed and they were digging it.

    I don’t understand the video. it’s just dancers. what does it have to do with breakfast. should have a girl in a nighty dancing in the bedroom in front of a guy saying breakfast can wait. thanks. my favorite prince video is automatic. prince was ahead of his time.

    I agree with someone else who said that the snippet of the vid reminds them of one of Janet Jackson’s vid ‘That’s the Way love goes’. I hope it’s not too similar. but just seeing the snippet, and how the dancers are dressed, how the female lead dancer presents herself with a similar hairstyle like Janet, in Janet’s vid, seems almost on the same track. Will see how the full vid turns out.

    *** It’s difficult to judge a video from 20 seconds of footage – However with that being said,…. I’m less excited now about the video than I was before I seen the teaser. =(

    Another teaser… whyyyy. Who do you wanna tease so bad? Nobody’s waiting for this but a handful of hardcores.
    I’ll wait for the entire vid, but from the looks of it this is gonna be bad.

    The only good thing I can come up with is that they said they had plans to release the albums together with the BCW video.

    Reminds me of Michael Jackson’s “One More Chance” video… except with Andy Allo or some other chickie dressed up like Prince.

    These brief snippets sound different from the track I got off of the original 3rdeyegirl, before it was revamped and before the song was re-released with this cover art and then made iTunes and amazonmp3…

    Can anyone tell me if the version that is currently available is in fact a different mix? Or am I delusional?

    Man, I tell ya, mind blowing how you find yourself in a situation where one has just a few degrees of separation, never KNEW I would have such CONNECTIONS!

    Anyway, the video – reminds me too much of Janet’s ‘That’s The Way Love Goes’.

    I think taking on a more humorous, and WE KNOW that Prince has an excellent sense of humor, would of been a better direction.

    This, just seems overly stylized, one-day-will-be-dated, dancer pedestrian eye candy with a lot of head snaps and back arches and looking over the shoulder junk.

    YAAAAAAWWWN…

    The jam?

    Meh. But its a good return to a sort of Rave Un2 like sound which is good and danceable.

    Now… what will we do with those SOTT movie never before seen ou….

    Nice! Thanks for sharing, looks like it’s going to be great. I’m looking forward to having a better visual for this song besides that creepy picture above!
