PRINCE’s new song “Rock & Roll Love Affair” debuted on an Iheart Radio station in Chicago this morning.
We were sent the photo above to post with the new song.
Rumor has it a video was shot for the song the same day that he shot “People Pleaser” with Andy Allo at his Paisley Park Studios earlier this month.

He didn’t have to, that was just him being cool enough to throw a bone. He knows we’re eager for new music. I think theres a new album around the bend. More shows too. Start setting cheddar aside. Las Vegas, Portland, OR, Miami, San Francisco & Texas are my guesses. Hoping Bambi, ICNTTPOYM, Crazy You, Paisley Park, Around the World In A Day, America, Computer Blue, When You Were Mine, Eye Like Funky Music, Alphabet St. (Revved up rendition). Let the underdog diamonds shine! It’s time!

Posted at 15:12h, 17 SeptemberIt’s very close to Take Me With You – Appolonia and Prince, especially when you play them at the same time….I love Prince, aside from that, not loving this tune as much. It’s not like him to create similar songs….his ability to create completely different music over the last (close to) 40 years, is why he is the best.

Posted at 15:09h, 17 SeptemberThe band sits in the back of the tour bus listening intently as the last few bars of the song are played over the speakers. “Thun thun thun thuuuuuun . . .” There is a long, awkward, quiet, reflection. Looking around at one another Angi leans into Edna and whispers, “I told you he wrote the song for me, it’s all about the stars colliding.” Bri stands up and walks over to Sticks, gives him the silent wink and coy smile and saunters to a seat up front, gets out her headphones and listens to the song again. Sheba, not one for being involved in any tom foolery yells up to the front where the kid is driving, “Yo kid! Would you please tell these fools once and for all who the song is about?!” The kid yells from the driver’s seat, “My honey, I wrote the song for my honey!” Just then the bathroom door bursts open and Tami yells, “Whose a red-headed-stepchild now?!”
Cue laughter.
Fade to commercial.

Heres hoping for a new, dare I say “album” to drop on our laps very soon and a new WOLRD tour, come Prince do it proper, big venues all over, the UK misses his Purple touch so much and it has now been 5 years excluding Hop Farm since you visited “good ‘ol blighty” and graced us with the Purple Funk…come on DO IT….DO IT…..DO IT
