20 Jul 12 Dead, 58 Wounded, As Gunman Opens Fire At “Dark Knight Rises” Showing In Colorado

We hope there will be no copycats.  A 24 year old gunman opened fire at “The Dark Knight Rises” movie showing in Aurora, Coloardo, CNN and others are reporting.

He kicked in the emergency exit door and experts are saying this may have been planned for a while.  They are not sure if he is acting alone or was part of a larger group.

He released a smoke bomb wearing a gas mask and started shooting people at random, including a 9 year old girl. He himself wore a bullet-proof vest and took a shotgun and a rifle from him.

The youngest victim is not 9 but actually 3 months old, a parent who just had to take the child with them to this showing.  Another 6 year old is badly hurt as well.

He has been captured and stated he rigged explosives to his apartment building and it has been evacuated as they look for the bombs.

Presidential hopeful Mitt Romney has already releases a statement.  President Obama has released a statement as well.
