ANDY ALLO’s 2nd CD entitled “Superconductor” will be released early this summer. The CD contains 6 self-penned tracks and 3 songs co-written with Prince.
The 3 songs written with Prince are “Superconductor”, “The Calm”, and “Gone”.
Special guests on the CD so far include Maceo Parker, Trombone Shorty, The NPG, The Hornheadz and of course-PRINCE, who also executive produced the record.
The CD is in the final stages of post-production but we have a sample provided to us exclusively by Miss Allo-herself of one of the songs Prince featured on his most recent tour of Europe.

I think a lot of prince’s ego comes from being some sort of divine pathway from us to god. I only wish that people would celebrate people rather than some higher power that we are supposed to fear. I don’t mean this to be a religious rant but I’m very against kids growing up in fear and told they are ‘ born sick and commanded to be well’. It’s such a waste of life to be in fear of a character created by man made scriptures.. Just celebrate your loved ones!!! Prince’s output would have been sooooo much better without all that divine fantasy rubbish. Just my opinion

Posted at 02:22h, 05 JulyWhy do people auto-hate anything Prince does these days? the sample was short, but I remember seeing/hearing this song from somewhere, and I liked it. (Sometimes the live version is better because it captures the energy/passion better such as Prince’s song Satisfied). I agree this clip is too short to pass judgement on the final product, though I am sure I’ll end up getting it:). I think sometimes people just get upset when they hear Bria Valente, Tamar or Andy Allo because they are wishing a new prince cd would drop. and yes I’d like that too, but you can’t just carry over your anger of not having an new Prince into hating a new collaborator. Evern if the track isn’t blockbuster great like “beautiful, loved and blessed” a perfect duet by the way, that doesn’t mean we shouldn’t give it props for what it is. The world needs more “real” music. real music/real musicians. and sometimes little teasers like this is good to get everyone talking, so everyone can get back to the basics, the bottom line is the only thing that matters in this world is God and music. So stop being so negative and show your love for those who love music as much a u do.

Umm that’s Princes half ass attempt at creating buzz within the Prince fan community. Only reason I am here is because I was looking for summer concerts & saw Prince’s name pop up. Good lord this girl better hope she can act because you know she will be forever known as the chick who formerly bonked/collabo/hooked up with/mused out to/protege of. Let’s hope she has a middle name so when this sh*t fails she can use that! Holla!!

Posted at 04:45h, 11 AprilI know that this CD will be hot, however, I’m still a little salty about the Tamar CD “Milk and Honey.” That CD was and is a winner too with the wonderful orchestrations…Prince should have pushed harded to support Tamar Davis.

U think u know but u have NO idea all the rest u mentioned would never take back the time with him especially musically because thats what most r in it for. The other illusions I can’t speak on.
