We think Green Day might be up to their secret show ways again.

Last month, the band played an announced “Secret Show” in Southern California.

This was posted within the past hour on Green Day Authority:

If you are a member of the Idiot Club and you live in the Oakland, California area, you might be in luck.  The Idiot Club is giving out 20 free tickets to the first 20 people to email them to attend the “Bay Area Music Fan Appreciation Event” going on tonight.

“We can’t tell you exactly where, we can’t tell you exactly why, but if you’re 21 years old or older and available tonight in Oakland, CA from 8PM-12AM PDT you may get a chance to attend the Bay Area Music Fan Appreciation Event.

Hmm.  The Idiot Club is Green Day’s official website fan club..  GDA did a search and found there are no real events called the Bay Area Music Fan Appreciation Event scheduled for tonight.

So if you are a Green Day fan and were not one of the first 20 to email them, let’s hope there will be a ticket sale for the others.

The show they did last month was very heavy on new material.-DocFB
