So subjectively speaking, for me its not that great.
When you play with this monster you better bring it or go home. Hell don’t even show up.

Put “The Revolution” back together before somebody dies. Bobby Z was a wake up call. I just finished watching Birthday Celebration from 86′, those were the days.
You need to put the pieces back together on that rear view mirror and get back to that place. Loved the Sonny T & Mike B days but the Revolution was the gel. Let us not forget Mr Nelson you always preach its about the music. Nothing wrong with you writing a song for the bangels but you didn’t have a bangel in your band!!
You raped me in your welcome to america tickets at $500 plus for floor level seats. I’d pay double that to see The Revolution. You wait too long & we will all miss out.

Does it really matter? This is her life so what. She has more exposure here Thayer ne where else, and besides talent only goes so far. If your concern has such magnitude, post it on her site or Facebook page.

I guess we know who is drinking the Koolaid round heya defending this recording. He is gonna mess things up for HER by pushin his latest fling up front just because he want to get in them drawers. She is average singer and average guitar player on stage with some top notch musicians. She is gonna get outshined and outplayed every gig. Her vibe is small indie club, hippie clothes and no makeup. He is manipulating her into his world in front of our eyes. People will lose respect for her as an artist and she will go down as another notch on his belt. Career over and done. SHE should see the signs and run!

Listen, I am the first to criticize Prince but please. This is just two people kicking it and messing around musically. Blessing us with the opportunity to here their fun. Why don’t you view some of your own Facebook posts and see some of the things you posted thinking it was cool, or funny or the shit. As for Prince having this girl or that girl hanging around his band getting attention so the F what! It’s HIS band…HIS band and he doesn’t work 4 ne 1 but himself. So if he wants to have a bunch of fruit loop gorillas as his band with free willy on the bass, so the F what. As long as it jams and we are granted the chance to see his performance. Remember, he doesn’t have to tour. And he doesn’t need to release new music. That is all done for us, including the incredible menagerie of hypercritical, judgmental whiners here. Just enjoy the spontaneous expression they chose to share with us..because if it’s that bad go out and do better…which ain’t gonna happen.
