Posted at 11:39h, 04 SeptemberI think it’s awesome that Prince has tickets for $21. In this economy, who can afford $150? Yep..still a wise man, isn’t he? Creative genius as well. I hope to see one of his concerts in my lifetime.
hoping….

Posted at 15:48h, 23 JanuaryPlease, don’t come to Los Angeles.
I’m here Lickety Lips because I want 2 B. No insults please.
You know fams, once Prince revealed the new song “Welcome 2 America” it struck me what that was about. Its a jaded song about America/USA’s governmental, security issues, etc. etc. Its a whining song about what Prince thinks about the USA. Which is pretty darn close to Tea-Bagger ideology since Jehovah Witnesses DO NOT TRUST the government.
“Welcome 2 America” than is a morose concept or whiny song/tour offering NO solutions to our problems. This from a “legend” “genius” who sold millions of records NOT to fans in Europe with the piggy back release of 2 Otan but to media corporations. He made millions off that little clever non-fan participation move and he’s like speaking for me about how wallstreet got a bailout. Please.

Posted at 19:38h, 01 NovemberThe Jehovah Era Prince does not vote. U R a fan of a Jehovah Witness rock star.
So, if Prince the scripturist, doesn’t vote, why is he welcoming fams to America?
Whats the thought behind this “welcome 2 america’ thing? I don’t understand.
Why did he mix 80’s futurist guitars from a pre-jehovah prince era with sixties type/fonts and a ballet dancer? What the hell is that? Why the mix up of mis-mixed imagery and styles?
Oh, yes, he’s indie, he does it all himself. I see… or Eye C… well, you’re no Art Director or graphic designer Prince. I don’t care how slick the photography or graphics are, they need to say or suggest, communicate something. Clarity is the foundation of graphic design.
Darn it you suck these days.

Posted at 17:06h, 01 NovemberDon’t get me wrong. I’m a die hard Prince fan from Holland. But I got a bit disillusioned after my $77 Lotusflow3r trip. T-shirt! What t-shirt? And now I have this creepy feeling that somebody’s working on his pensionplan. Money don’t matter 2nite?

Posted at 11:50h, 26 October$20.10……hmmmmmm.
I somtimes assoicate price with how good something is. For example LotusFlo3er, the 3CD set I saw on sale at Target for .99 cents! If it’s just money he is after, this may be ONE of the reasons why most of his cd’s burn out fast and end up in the trash bins.
