Wow.  There are rumors floating around Hollywood today that Zac Efron is going to be the next Spider-Man.

If the rumor is true, Zac will be getting into Toby Macguire’s old tights and being paid $9 million to do so.

The studio says they want Vanessa Hudgens to take over the role of Mary Jane Watson from Kristen Dunst.

OK, I believed the story til they said they wanted Vanessa.  Look, I love her, but she is no Mary Jane is all.

    NOOOooo please if they do that i would b waiting the entire film for the caterpillars above his eyes to do some neat trick or something.
    I dont think of him as much of an actor..
    lets keep Toby as spiderman.
    Maybe Zac can play caterpillarboy ROFLOL

    Zac could totally pull it off. Peter Parker has to be the kind of boy next door with an edge and I think Zac’s got it. And he’s better looking than Toby too. I didn’t realize he was in that new “Me and Orson Welles” movie with Clare Danes. It’s been getting good reviews. I’d like to see him as Spidey!
