i support Prince because i appreciate his music, however i’m still going to vote with my money and will not keep paying for sub-par put outs as the “new cd”.

Posted at 06:23h, 23 SeptemberI think that it is great hearing this recording … I am a old school Prince fan and remember getting the Prince album on vinyl … I played this song over and over and over … love it that Prince for going back in the archives … allowing me to reminisce on good times.

P.S. .. I want to add that I would have also liked this to be posted over at lotusflw3r.com … it would have been nice but I guess that is a done deal …I guess as a fan/fam we just want a little more bang for our $77 bucks .

He plays a lot of classics, and less known jewels from his own collection. I very much appreciate that, this gets me a 100 times more excited than all the covers.
Keep it going like this, a full concert of Prince songs! Known, less known… I don’t care, it’s all good!
This rehearsal sounds very good, fresh.. I would love to hear this in concert.
Only thing I’m not happy about is… yes, the LF.com website. Come on, we paid and got nothing. This stuff needs to be on that website. And a lot more stuff!

Now, I’m not going to ask if you’re upset that info comes here instead. I not stupid. I know you’re glad/proud of that, but surely you understand everyones frustration. Can you do YOUR followers a favor and ask Prince or his “birdies” if they can add something to Lotusflow3r.com at least once a week? ANYTHING would make the Fams happy! For the record, I not mad. Posted at 23:07h, 22 SeptemberYou know, I remember when I was young about 5 yrs on this planet and I watched motown, black and white movies and fell in love with a particular sound. It was a simple sound and just automatically came together. It is the sound of live music all at once, instruments, melodies and lead being played straight up and sung with out editing. They used to use a TUDOR for recording – I know Elvis and the Temptations used it. Well, this rehearsal took me back to the “good times” the raw sound live and in color with everybody playing and I have to say absolutely perfect in rhythm, guitar sound was unique, vocals live in full bloom, drums on time, exact and piano very lively and exciting. I haven’t heard live like that since 5… so thank you. Live and In color in my ears.
