Maya & Nandy, better known as “The Twinz” performed this song on the world’s biggest stage, the Super Bowl with Prince in 2007 to the largest halftime audience of all time.

Maya and Nandy have been performing acoustic shows around the Los Angeles & Santa Monica area for a couple of weeks now.  They will be performing a FREE show at the World Cafe this Tuesday, September 22nd 2009 in Santa Monica at 9:00 P.M. and they should impress you.

The audio here (recorded by CB) does not do them justice but I like it personally. The video was put together by CG and I am very appreciative.  Photos were provided by AK and Drfunkenberry.

    The Twinz were singing, dancing and acting before they met Prince (Moulin Rouge, Above the Law, etc). Although I think one’s voice is much better than the other’s.. I can’t hate on them. In Vegas they were extremely pleasant and patient with the “fans” and I wish them the very best.

    A Live performance is gutsy……overall not bad..although I think they would make better studio artists….

    I like these girls, would love to hear more and lol @annoyingaussies you saying Rihanna’s voice is NOT annoying but theirs is? too funny, but why am i arguing with a hater lol hope u will find happiness in ur life 🙂 And btw they were with Prince 4 over 2 years so obviously not too bad for him….just a thought

    they will never make it as recording artists, how do you go from dancing and singing for an A lister like PRINCE to doing the same for a D lister like Letoya Luckett?

    they dont have what it takes to compete with the beyonce and rihannas of the world- not the look, not the sound, not the style or swagger and those voices are sooo annoying!!!

    no wonder prince fired their fiesty asses!

    Wow. This really sucks. Banal, nasally and annoying. I’m not sure whats worse. This or their frenetic epilipsy moves they call dancing.
