18 Sep More Info On Janet Jackson’s Upcoming #1 Hits Set
As we told you first and exclusively, (sorry for those who hate that term but oh well) Janet Jackson will be releasing a #1 Hits set later this year. I am here to dispel some rumors.
First, the tenetive release date of November 17th is NOT confirmed, nor is the rumors this will be a 2 disc set with 30 songs. There is no configuration yet but as soon as I have it and the track list, I will post it.
The set might be getting delayed as rumors of Madonna and Janet working together are swirling around the Internet that the 2 will be recording very soon together. If we have any more concrete evidence of this, I will let you know as soon as I can.
Everyone involved is excited about this project and I am sure the fans will be as well.
Hopefully, we will have more information on this early next week.
So, you guys excited by this project or would you rather have new material?-Dr.FB

Posted at 10:23h, 21 SeptemberI can’t wait for it! I hope that “Make Me” song is on there cause it’s the best song she’s made in years. I will buy it the first day it comes out.

Posted at 08:14h, 21 SeptemberFrom what I hear, it will be just previous hits on 2 discs, maybe with an unreleased new song or 2. Not sure if the rumored Madonna & Janet track would appear on this set or the one next year that will be all new music with Jam & Lewis returning to the mix.

Posted at 06:21h, 21 SeptemberI am excited about this project … new material would be great — maybe if it is going to be a 2 disk hits CD… Disk 1 will be the hits and disk 2 will be new material … kinda like MIchael did with the History CD ??? … I guess we will just have to wait and see ….

Posted at 12:54h, 20 SeptemberI thought Janet was working on a new album with Jimmy Jam & Terry Lewis set for next spring. She announced a month ago she was writing new material. I rather have that or both.
Plus which label is releasing it? She is no longer with Virgin records that she had the majority of her hits on.
