01 Sep Salma Hayek To Be Honored At This Year’s ALMA Award’s Show

Beautiful and talented Salma Hayek will all be honored at this year’s ALMA Awards.
Salma will be given the Anthony Quinn Award for Industry Excellence.
The show, which takes place in Los Angeles in September 17, will be hosted by comedian George Lopez and Desperate Housewives star Eva Longoria Parker, who also serves as executive producer.
The American Latino Media Arts Award, or ALMA Award is a distinction awarded to Latino performers, actors, directors and designers who promote positive portrayals of Latinos in the entertainment field.
Created in 1995 by the National Council of La Raza (NCLR), it takes over from the previous Bravo Awards. The awards are given during an annual ceremony generally held in the summer.
