11 Aug Brooks & Dunn Hang Up Their Cowboy Boots
After 20 years, Brooks & Dunn are calling it a career. They posted a message on thier myspace page that says:
“After 20 years of making music and riding this trail together, we have agreed as a duo that it’s time [to] call it a day,”
“This ride has been everything and more than we could ever have dreamed. … We owe it all to you, the fans. If you hear rumors, don’t believe them, it’s just time. ”
That really came out of nowhere at least to me? Any country fans see this coming? 20 years is a long time. We are sure there will be a reunion within 10 years. Didn’t they have more hits than the Judds?-Dr.FB

Posted at 10:05h, 11 AugustRemembering back to the days of Tulsa City Limits, The Vegas Club, Johnny Dukes, and even the Beeline Lounge, wow, what memories. We all had so much fun then, and yes it would be a great party, to have RG back on stage with Danny, Mitch, Leo Feathers and all of the old timers of Tulsa once again. Takes me back a few years and many fond memories ago. Ronnie and Kix, I wish you well in your retirement, and your great performances will be missed. Ronnie, I would love to see you return to Tulsa, even if just once, to strutt that stuff. You are the greatest!!!!!!!!!

Posted at 10:00h, 11 AugustThis is GRRREEEEAAAATTT!!! News!!
Finally better duos in country can be recognized and win awards!! Sugarland will be the next duo to sweep every award show from now on! Rascal Flatts will continue to dominate best group, and best duo or group! Brooks and Dunn were good in the beginning, but got horrible towards the end, with their songs being mediocre at best. Maybe they’ll take their own advice, and Put a Girl In It! Glad to hear that Brooks Are Dunn!! YaY!!

Posted at 07:59h, 11 AugustI’m not surprised. Ronnie sang all of the hits and didn’t need Kix. I wish them both well.
