16 Jun The Black Eyed Peas Get Censored From “Free” Radio
It was pointed out to me over the weekend that the Black Eyed Peas song “Boom Boom Pow” is being censored over at free radio. Free radio meaning not satellite radio.
Here are the uncensored lyrics:
Here we go, here we go, satellite radio
Y’all gettin’ hit with boom boom
Beats so big I’m steppin’ on leprechauns
Shittin’ on y’all with the boom boom
Here is the censored version
Here we go, here we go, s******** radio
Y’all gettin’ hit with boom boom
Beats so big I’m steppin’ on leprechauns
S******’ on y’all with the boom boom
Wow. Who knew that satellite is as bad of a word as shit? Grow up. This is just another in a long line of reasons that radio just doesn’t matter anymore. Censoring words like satellite? Hmm.
Go ahead. Turn on your “free” radio station. It won’t be long before they play this song. Tell me you are hearing what I am hearing.
Seems someone is “Clear”ing our “Channel” for us and might just be worried about non free radio being the wave of the future. No one thought someone would pay for TV til cable came along right?-Dr.FB

HD RADIO DIED
Posted at 22:06h, 02 SeptemberNobody is buying HD Radio….get real. In almost every new car the car companies are installing satellite radio not AM/FM or HD Radio. Satellite Radio is not dying it’s thriving! In 2009 alone Toyota will install 1 Million satellite radios. Cash for clunkers was responsible for auto sales moving than 700,000 vehicles!
Don’t forget to add the iPhone App more than 1 Million downloaded. The new Skydock that turns every iPhone, iTouch and iPod into a satellite radio!
Clear Channel the largest Free radio company is deep in debt and may file bankruptcy while satellite radio thrives!

But the censorman should get his priorities right. It took them long enough to censor Birfday Sex.. My daughter was not convinced the lyrics were Birthday Drinks. I did try.
