26 May T.I. Heads To Prison Today
T.I. gave his final concert on Sunday before going to jail today on a weapons charge stemming from 2007. Tickets were just $10. It was a sell-out crowd of 16,000.
T.I.’s sentence was to be a 366 day sentence but will most likely be drastically reduced. Can I say something here? I thought he was already in jail and thy announced his sentence would be shortened. WTH? Guess I wasn’t paying attention. After he gets out, will drinks still be on him?-Dr.FB

Posted at 19:18h, 27 MayI feel that by him being a public celeberity, he has a lot of influnce on our youth and he should have shown more responsibility about his actions and not to carry a firearm. It only sends the wrong message as to them that if they do break the law they will only get a little bit of time, but not having the financial means that T.I. does, will only have them caught by surprise and they will get the maximum sentence for their actions.

Posted at 17:25h, 26 MayUmm, I am definately not hating, but this has been drug out enough. The man is going to prison where he will not really experience true prison life and is constantly trying to get out of it. I don’t fully blame him, who wants to go to prison? However, his whole “road to redemption” was centered around teaching america’s youth a lesson and encouraging them not to do illegal things that will land them in his situation but at the same time he is also showing them, hey, if you are a big name and have some money, you won’t suffer the full consequences of your actions. I just wish he would be more responsible with the messages he is sending his fans, especially the young black men, but he needs to grow up and take his sentence like a man. God bless him and keep him safe; but he might want to reference Plies “if I go to prison I won’t have any worries, eat good, sleep good….” just my opinion, coming from a woman whose man has been to prison for longer than TI’s sentence for a sell charge, not intent to purchase illegal weapons by a convicted felon. I’m just sayin…
